Albany Speed is well versed in Scaling! Utilizing our State of the Art Scaling equipment on Level Ground we will scale your Racecar or Kart without the driver or with the driver (with driver preferred & a must for Karters). Albany Speed will set up, weigh and document the total weight, corner weights, cross weights, left and right side weights and front and rear weights in pounds and percentages for a baseline understanding. Albany Speed can then consult with you and adjust your Racecar or Kart to specifications you desire or offer recommendations for your application during a set up session.
Accurate Racecar Scaling Baseline $75.00
Albany Speed Shop will Scale your Racecar and give you the current settings for Ride heights, Stagger, Camber, Caster, Toe, Cross weight percentages, Left side weight percentages and Front weight percentages.
Accurate Racecar Scaling Set Up $225.00
Albany Speed Shop will complete the baseline scaling procedure and then consult with you to determine your set up desire. Albany Speed Shop will then set up your racecar ride heights, cross weights, left side weights, front weights, in preperation for the final race car alignment to set camber, caster and toe to your desired specs.

Accurate Kart Scaling Baseline $40.00
Albany Speed Shop will Scale your Kart and give you the current settings for Rear track, Stagger, Camber, Caster, Toe, Cross weight percentage, Left side weight percentage and Front weight percentage.
Accurate Kart Scaling Set Up $105.00
Albany Speed Shop will complete the baseline scaling procedure and then consult with you to determine your set up desire. Albany Speed Shop will then set up your Karts cross weights, left side weights, front weights, Camber, Caster and Toe to your preferences. Minor seat adjustments included.

All Adjustable Components – ie shock bolts, spring adjusters, control arms, tire pressure valves, jacking bolts, spring mounting bolts, spindle bolts, moveable weight clamps etc. must be clean free and adjustable. If they are not Albany Speed offers a cleaning, lubing and freeing up service for a labor fee of $50 per hour plus materials if needed. Any labor time to alter, adjust, modify any part of any racecar or kart in order to achieve agreed upon car or kart weights and percentages will be charged $50 per hour ie. Changing springs or changing mount locations. Albany Speed also offers different sized and shapes of lead weight and clamping parts available through the Speed Shop showroom.
***Any track scales used in tech inspection at any track are the official scales for the event. Be sure to check your Race car/kart on those scales for total weight compliance.
